I've spent 15 years in marketing, including five years leading marketing, operations and growth at LIFT, a global AI startup. These days I run my own consultancy and work with founders on everything from strategy to the day-to-day. I use data to find out quickly what's working, and AI to get more done.

About
I spent five years at LIFT, a global AI startup, where I joined in stealth to manage a website build and grew into leading marketing, operations and growth across the US, Asia and Europe. I led the company's move from game studio to AI infrastructure, including positioning the messaging so complex technology made sense to investors, partners, community members and media.
Today data and AI are part of everything I do. I set up tracking and reporting so founders can see what's actually making them money, and I build AI workflows for prospecting, content and reporting, for my own business and for clients.
I also run my own consultancy, Found First, working with brands across hospitality, health, legal, recruitment and e-commerce. Before LIFT I led marketing at Nutrition Care and Yoga Australia.
I have a Master of Human Nutrition, which comes in handy more often than you'd think. I live in Lennox Head, where I surf baby waves and run some kms.

In an ideal world, you'd bring in a strategist to pull the business apart and come up with a plan, then hand it to a big agency to run.
But you're a startup, so let's be realistic. You need someone who can strategise, deliver, pivot and handle whatever else comes up, all in the same week. That's what I do.

I start by pulling the whole thing apart: your funnel from first visit to paying customer, your channels, your numbers and what you've already tried. You get a clear picture of where users drop off and where spend is being wasted.

We agree on the few growth levers worth pulling first, each with a clear metric. The plan is built to change, so when the data tells us something, we pivot within days, not months.

I'll do the work myself, or find and manage the right people for it, whether that's an agency or a freelancer on Upwork. Whatever gets it done well and quickly.

Acquisition and conversion across every channel. I know each one well enough to do it myself or get it done fast, and to know when it's been done right.

Tracking and attribution go in from day one, so we're never guessing. I watch the numbers that matter, like CAC, conversion rate, retention and revenue, and use AI to pull them together quickly so we can test, learn and pivot fast.
